Yesenia Muniz, Director/Teacher
Hi! My name is Yesenia Muniz and I am the Owner and Director of Escuelita de Ohio City. I have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati and have worked with children for over 20 years.
Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I enjoy watching the children at the center grow and learn. I have a 12 year old son Manuel currently in the school age classroom and four rescue dogs at home. I look forward to meeting you!
Luz Torres
Hi! My name is Luz but a lot of people call me Cookie. I have been working with children for the last five years and have four kids of my own who attend Escuelita. I love supporting an enriched cultural learning experience for the children - where we can guide growth through exploring nature and our surroundings, and foster confidence and creativity through projects and independent play. Music and movement are a big part of my day - we love to salsa!
